And the Glory:

Coming Home to Weaverville’s Messiah

Messiah 2026: A Weaverville Tradition Since 1948

This December, the director of Asheville Senior Chorus, Chuck Taft, will conduct Handel’s Messiah for the Weaverville Music Study Club, one of Western North Carolina’s longest-running community music traditions. The choir is open to everyone, with no audition, no experience required, and no cost to join.

Whether you already sing with the Asheville Senior Chorus or simply love great choral music, we hope you’ll come sing with us.
